Sorry for all the pictures. It seems that the wife wanted pictures of me doing the work rather then just showing what I did. From top to bottom I am filling the holes made by the Kreg Pocket Hole system with pine pocket hole plugs and sanding them smooth. Then, you see a color pallet granted the camera did not do the last color justice it was a brilliant brown mahogany NOT a grey that it is showing. Then, you see the new iron that I purchased once the one that I had access to decided to break on me, I also show how to use it to properly apply veneer edge banding. GRANTED this is just what I have learned from other wood workers not necessarily the "recommended" way of applying the veneer. [January 14, 2012]
